Center For Wildlife Project
Charges Forward

In January Center For Wildlife history was made as the plans and permits for the new conservation medicine and education facility and campus were unanimously approved by the York Planning Board!

The Center for Wildlife has only had one indoor expansion in the last 33 years. This new facility will do wonders for the community and Jewett Construction is thrilled to help this dream come to life. There are also with many different naming opportunities still available. Review the Naming Opportunities, like sponsorship of the Spotted Turtle exhibits, here

In December Bar Harbor Bank and Trust Manchester Branch celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon cutting. The newly completed 1,500 SF bank is located at 1000 Elm Street in Manchester, NH and Jewett Construction is proud to have worked on this great project.

The project involved the transformation and repair of an existing building into a new and modern space. The property features an inviting environment with glass enclosed private offices and a beautiful wooden desk that is the heart of the space. The bank is located in the heart of downtown Manchester with great proximity to many businesses and existing Bar Harbor Bank and Trust customers.

The Apple Tree Mall in Londonderry, NH is getting a new look! Vernet Properties out of Salem, Massachusetts, purchased the Apple Tree Mall and has big plans to improve it. Jewett Construction is working on transforming the 195,000 square- foot mall, which rests on over 20 acres of land.

The project involves facade, roof, and asphalt work as well as updating signage, landscaping and connecting to town sewerage. When asked what his company found attractive about this property, Vernet explained that there is good value in it. “We typically purchase things that we call value add properties, and then we keep them long-term to add value to them,” he said. “We did that with the Raymond Shopping Center, and we plan on doing the same thing here.”
