We’ve partnered with the New Hampshire Interscholastic Athletic Association (NHIAA) to share details through school guidance and athletics departments. The scholarship will also be promoted during NHIAA championship games throughout the school year.

Jewett Construction is proud to announce Justin of Pinkerton Academy as the recipient of the 2026 Jewett Trade Scholarship.
Justin stood out for his leadership, character, and passion for the skilled trades. A 3-sport athlete and active participant in student leadership activities, he has earned high praise from his coaches and teachers for the positive impact he makes both on and off the field.
Following graduation, Justin plans to pursue a career in the HVAC field — and we have no doubt he has a bright future ahead. His dedication and work ethic embody everything this scholarship was created to support.

When Peyton graduated from Merrimack High School, he had a clear goal: build a career in welding. With support from our Trades Scholarship, he enrolled in welding school and quickly got to work mastering both the fundamentals and the craft.
Over the past year, Peyton combined classroom learning with hands-on training in a focused, small-group environment. His dedication paid off in a big way. He earned an impressive 54 welding certifications, including the highly challenging 6G 6-inch pipe restricted test. He credits that experience with teaching him patience and confidence under pressure.
The scholarship played a critical role in his success. By easing the financial burden, Peyton was able to fully commit to his training, show up every day, and put in the hours needed to improve his technique and trust his abilities.
That commitment has already opened doors. Peyton was recently offered a position with a local ironworkers union. He plans to begin work later this year after completing final onboarding steps and certifications.
When asked what advice he would give future applicants, Peyton keeps it simple: apply, stay patient, and trust the process.
