Center for Wildlife Project Charges Forward

In January, history was made for the Center for Wildlife as plans and permits for its new conservation medicine and education facility were unanimously approved by the York Planning Board.

This will be the Center's first indoor expansion in 33 years, and it promises to bring lasting benefits to the community. Jewett Construction is honored to play a role in bringing this important facility to life. Numerous naming opportunities — including sponsorship of the Spotted Turtle exhibits — are still available.

Bar Harbor Bank and Trust Project Completed

In December, the Bar Harbor Bank and Trust Manchester Branch celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon cutting. Jewett Construction was proud to complete this transformation of a 1,500 SF building at 1000 Elm Street in downtown Manchester, NH.

The project transformed an existing structure into a modern, welcoming space, featuring private glass offices and a custom wooden desk as the centerpiece. The location offers convenient access for local businesses and Bar Harbor customers.

Apple Tree Mall Gets a New Look

Jewett Construction is also working with Vernet Properties to revitalize the 195,000-square-foot Apple Tree Mall in Londonderry, NH. The mall, situated on more than 20 acres, will undergo major updates including new façades, roofing, asphalt work, signage, landscaping, and sewer connections.

Vernet Properties, which specializes in value-add properties, sees great long-term potential in the site. “We did that with the Raymond Shopping Center, and we plan on doing the same thing here,” said Vernet.
