Seasoned HR Leader Joins Jewett to Strengthen Culture, Engagement, and Growth

FREMONT, NH – Jewett Construction Company is proud to announce the addition of Lynn Palmer as Human Resources Manager. With more than 25 years of experience in human resources, Lynn brings strategic insight and a people-first mindset to Jewett's growing team. Her proven ability to align HR initiatives with business goals makes her a powerful asset in fostering team development and building on Jewett’s vibrant culture.

A graduate of Southern New Hampshire University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a concentration in Human Resources, Lynn has held influential roles throughout her career. She began at NTP Software in Manchester, NH, where she built an HR department from the ground up. She then went on to lead critical HR functions at Irving Oil and later Circle K of Akron, OH. There, she successfully merged operations across more than 200 retail locations and 1,800+ employees in four states during a joint venture between the two companies.

Lynn’s strategic mindset and attention to detail led to the development of an audit program that saved Circle K over $400,000 in civil penalties. She also implemented recruiting, staffing, and onboarding solutions that helped the organization meet complex hiring demands. Her passion for delivering results while keeping employees at the heart of every initiative aligns perfectly with Jewett’s core values of trust, respect, and continuous improvement.

When asked about her experience so far, Lynn shared: “It’s all about the people for me! I love being able to deliver the best experience to each of our hardworking associates. If there’s a way I can help make the team’s experience of coming to work better, that makes me happy. I also love finding new ways to make HR more relevant and impactful for the team.”

Outside the office, Lynn’s family remains her greatest joy. She describes her husband Brian as “amazing” and delights in spending time with their two children, Jordin and Brynn. Together, they share a passion for hockey and horses—two of Lynn’s favorite pursuits when she’s not making a difference in the workplace.
